On your left, the very first Kawasaki W650 "cafe racer" (1999),built in our workshop.  I used a tank primary intended for Sr500.. Picture was taken at Monthlery during the "Coupes Moto Legende”, one of the biggest classic bike meeting in the world. Below, gallery shows evolution of tank and seat shape. W650 with high handlebar was on show at the "Mondial de la Moto" 1999 French international motorcycle show.
